The Beauty of Infinite Sadness

Here’s another composition from A Cult of Lies. In this piece, not only did I use heavy droning sounds but I saturated the delay, reverb, and distortion beyond anything else I’ve done. The result is both melancholy and meditative. So, I called the track The Beauty of Infinite Sadness.

This might be the last ACOL piece for awhile. I enjoy the experimental quality about these latest works, but I want to balance things out. What’s next? I’m not sure. Perhaps some new work from The OWG, or maybe more emphasis on poetry. Also, I’ve still got the traditional singer-songwriter recordings in progress. Stay tuned. – dse
