After I completed The Original Grey Castle Soundtrack a couple of weeks ago, I thought it was done. But a few days later, more music crept into my head. So, I composed 13 more tracks, and put together The Original Grey Castle Soundtrack, Pt. 2.
The second helping is similar to the first but I do use a few different voicings througout the album. I was really pushing myself to get done by the time I reached the last few tracks, however, after listening back, those may be some of the most experimental tracks of the album, if not quite as spooky sounding.
The album is the second of two in support of Shaun Castle’s new podcast, Grey Castle, available on Spotify. The podcast dives into spooky and paranormal topics.
The cover art is my own photo of grafitti on a railroad tressel along the industrial waterfront of Everett Washington.
Both albums are available at Bandcamp for $9 each. – dse
