Yes, the F stands for what you think. On this Anderhill EP, F the Beautiful, I use music to contemplate art. Sometimes, the greatest works of art may appear ugly while the beautiful things have been created using means that cause harm. I once worked with an artist who used trash to create art as a means to attempt to do less harm to our world.
F the Beautiful is more experimental than much of my previous work. The track titled “The Beautiful” is a strange and gentle experimental loop using a nylon-stringed guitar and a simple, yet off-beat, rhythm. The result is interesting. – dse
