Throughout the spring of 2020, I composed a crapload of music as Anderhill. The coronavirus quarantine was in its early and most strict stages. It gave me a lot of time to explore and experiment.
Ye Ol’ Corona Days was originally released as three separate EPs, parts I, II, and III. However, when I moved my entire catalog from SoundCloud to BandCamp in early 2021, I decided to create a single LP out of the original EPs. The album has a variety of experimental, drone, and quirky electronic sounds.
The music was produced quickly and somewhat playfully. We were stuck at home in the midst of a pandemic and I was going to make the best of it and have a little fun. – dse
