In the midst of the pandemic I had a lot of time to experiment with music. This is my attempt at creating orchestral, classical-like music. It’s my Opus 1. It’s not like anything else I’ve composed as Anderhill. It’s not really Anderhill at all, but for the sake of simplicity I stuck it in the Anderhill catalog.
For this 12-track LP, I used traditional symphonic sounds rather than electronic sounds. I still practice working with minimalism and drones, but it’s less experimental and more traditional in nature. I’ve done a couple other works that have incorporated similar elements since, but haven’t yet attempted to create a second opus. – dse
