This track was originally a short piece on the Hum EP. I sampled the ticking of a clock and then manipulated the sample in the playback. I added effects and removed beats. It created an interesting interpretation of time.
For this long-play version of Glitches in Time, I added more musical elements and rhythmic structure to create a track that slowly builds over a 13-minute period. I composed the original version during the early phases of the coronavirus pandemic. During that time of isolation, time began to move differently, as if pieces were missing. – dse
