Sometimes strange things happen in life. My life is no exception. Currently, everything is on hold in my life because something unbelievable is happening. Unfortunately, it’s not a good situation. I find myself in circumstances in which I have to sacrifice my own wishes, dreams, and needs for the best interest of others in my family. It’s limiting my time and diminishing my money.
I’d like to share more details but the situation is both personal and potentially dangerous at this time. I’ll simply leave it at the fact that my 17-year-old-daughter has made some choices that may have consequences. My job is to protect her to the best of my ability.
My hope is that we will get through this unbelievable situation without too much damage, and that it will lead to reflection, writing, music, and art. Only time will tell. So if posts here become less frequent in the coming weeks, know that I’m doing my best to deal with something I never thought I’d have to deal with in my lifetime. Perhaps, when the dust settles, I’ll be more open and communicate more detail about the unbelievable events. Until then. – dse
