This Place Might Be Lonesome but It Soothes My Soul

Here’s a new track from A Cult of Lies that I wrote after spending most of a day driving through rural Kansas. I composed This Place Might Be Lonesome but It Soothes My Soul in an effort to emulate both the sound of the hum of wheels on the highway, and the feeling I get when I look out at the wide open spaces.

This is the fourth track I’ve released by A Cult of Lies in the past few months. Soon, I’ll be releasing a full album including this piece. I took the photo near Dodge City, Kansas. Stay tuned for more. – dse
