Before this. Before Anderhill. Before Dan Steven Erickson. I used to write about the simple life. Some call it minimalism. I don’t like that term in regard to lifestyle. Minimalism is a style of art. Still, I’m attracted to the simple life.
As I get closer to posting each album from my Anderhill catalog here, and I’m almost there, I get closer to another restart on this website. That’s right, life, writing, music, it’s nothing but a series of restarts. And my next restart will lead to a more simple website, less posts, less talk, less. Yet, more creativity.
As I move toward a time I can retire from my teaching career, I seek something more simple. A quiet place. Something small, yet spacious. Simple life. Simple writing. Simple music. To simply create. That’s all. – dse
