Released in the summer of 2020, Lost 80’s Instrumental B-Sides is a fun electronic EP. The four Anderhill tracks on this recording are based on the sounds of early 80’s electronic pop music. You remember those pop/new-wave bands? Many of them released at least one instrumental B-side. The goal was to make music that could fit into that era and musical style.
This is definitely not ambient or minimalist music. There are plenty of drums and melodic structures. I created these tracks quickly and had a lot of fun doing it. I think the music speaks to that. – dse
