This 12-song album, Dead Trees, was originally two EPs. The first, a 6-track EP, continues to explore acoustic sounds in the vein of my Opus 1 album. The second EP includes the same six tracks remixed as electronic pieces.
When I started the Anderhill BandCamp account, I remixed the two EPs and turned it into one LP. In some cases the acoustic and electronic versions of the songs are completely different. In other cases they’re similar.
It was an interesting experiment in remixing tracks in ways that gave two unique sounds to the exact same musical compositions. – dse
